This painting painted by Diego Rivera has really brought back good memories. In this mural the children are happy and in my eyes they feel loved by their grandma. In a lot of hipanic families the grandchildren grow up and were brought up by their grandma something that I went through, that is until my grandma died of cancer.My child hood was amazing. I was one of the lucky ones because out of the grandchildren like I was the oldest I got to spend the most time with her and I was the one who recieved the most love and attention from her. She protected me just like i could see in this painting their grandma does the same thing.To me my grandma was my mom in my childhood and i know that this grandma is the childrens mom. This mural has great energy. Diego Rivera's paintings have great stories in them from the mexican life.
