Honor's English Final: My Sophomore Year! :)

My sophomore year has been an unexpected school year. Their has been many tears and smiles some I shared with and some I was all alone. I would like to start off by saying thank you to the ones who have helped me become a junior even though sophomore year was fun. I am glad to say that the summer break has arrived and I will leave sophomore year with a lot of good memories. Even though I was not involved in a lot in school activities I really like this school and it made my sophomore year a really good one.
High school is no joke it is not to be messing around with. High school really reflects on how your future will be and turn out to be. I have learned a lot during my sophomore year, not just mentally but socially and personally. The teachers played a big role in this learning experience not just because they are teachers but because of their experiences they are willing to help us and give us the tools to accomplish what we want in life; and I thank them for that. My friends and family have been a part of my learning journey too. I have learned that there will always be problems and obstacles in life but you have to be strong and overcome them. Not always will there be somebody by your side so you have to learn to do things on your own but you also have to learn how to except the help offered to you at times because sometimes you may really need it without you noticing it. From experience I say it is important to exceed others expectations and prove people wrong but do it for your own good.
Sophomore year has helped understand the importance of education. We are two years from graduating and going to college. From different peoples perspective of live I have found ways to live the life that best suits me. Education has been one of those things that I have learned to make it an important part of my life.
I did go through a lot this year. My family was a wreck. I went through major depression this year that it was hard to handle life situations, school, and my social life all at the same time. Even though I was not going through it alone it would hurt me and affect me a lot more because others around me that I loved were going through the same and I knew how it felt so I would feel bad for them. Thanks to god and the way others helped me think I overcame some of that depression. Though it is a long process I am hanging in there.
My family has always said “In high school you will learn who are your true friends” even though they had more experience I never believed them. Unfortunately I have been finding out who are those to be considered as friends and those who don’t. Friends and family mean everything to me. There are friends who I had met before sophomore year but there are a couple that I just met this year. Mayra, Lisandra, Madeline, Jasmelly(my panda bear) and Anabel are those who I consider my best friends and I would so share chocolate with them. Jasmelly(my panda bear)I have known since 5th grade. Man I love this girl we have shared tears and smiles together. When we are together we are the goofiest people you will ever meet. Anabel and I have been friends since 6th grade. We may not go to the same school but we still have been really close and she has always been there for me no matter the problem and I love her like a sister. Mayra, Lisandra, and Madeline I got to meet in 9th grade. We have this friendship connection no one can break. Though we all are very different from each other we love one another unconditionally. Mayra is the more serious one. Madeline is the goofy one doesn’t care what anybody thinks. Lisandra is the shy one. I love these girls and i am very fortunate to have met these wonderful people and I am happy to call them my friends. I would never trade nor let one of these amazing people go from my life. They are the definition of true friends. I love you girls!!
Sophomore year was a rollercoaster. I enjoyed what it brought to my life but it’s time for JUNIOR year and go on with this journey of life, hope it’s what I expect and more.
GO CLASS of 2012!!
